Who we are

QIMA is led by Swati Bhargava and Garrett Obrycki. Our work moves across cultural institutions, civic systems, education networks, grassroots movements, campaigns, festivals, residencies, prisons, and international community spaces. We study how systems move — how people gather, how authority functions, how conflict appears, how decisions stall, and how ambitious work becomes real.
